Your residency status is initially determined by the completeness and accuracy of the information you provide in the residency section of the 铜丹佛 admissions application. 

的 requirements for establishing residency for tuition purposes are defined by Colorado law and apply to all state-funded institutions in Colorado. Institutions are not free to make exceptions to the rules. 的 Colorado Department of Higher Education (CDHE) also has information regarding the residency classification rules.

Western Undergraduate Exchange

Students from many of Colorado’s neighboring Western states can attend 铜丹佛 at a discounted tuition rate through the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) program. This cost is lower than non-resident tuition, but higher than resident tuition. If you are from a participating WUE state (based on your permanent address), you will automatically receive this tuition rate.
